Real Mom No Actors Campaign

Instead of a scripted, polished ad with actors, Super Coffee wanted something genuine and relatable.

For Mother’s Day, Super Coffee wanted to create a heartfelt digital campaign celebrating actual mothers who supported their products. By not hiring actors or models, the campaign led with the intent to showcase parents who power through their days—just like their coffee. Instead of a scripted, polished ad with actors, the brand wanted something genuine and relatable.

I led the creation of a fast-turnaround campaign that featured real families who already loved the product, bringing authenticity and warmth to the spotlight.

Challenge

  • 72-hour production window from concept to delivery

  • Maintain brand voice while creating an emotionally resonant message

  • Ensure high-quality visuals and sound despite rapid timeline

My Approach

  • Casting & Outreach: Immediately reached out to real Super Coffee customers and community members who had shared brand love online, selecting participants who could film quickly with guidance.

  • Creative Direction: Crafted a loose narrative that allowed moms and their families to speak naturally about their day-to-day routines, energy needs, and the role Super Coffee plays in their lives.

  • Remote Production Coordination: Provided direction on self-filming for consistency, including framing, lighting, and audio tips. Collected and reviewed footage in real-time.

Outcome

  • Delivered a warm, human-centered digital ad within 72 hours

  • Boosted audience engagement by showcasing real fans instead of models

  • Reinforced Super Coffee’s brand values of energy, authenticity, and community

  • Created a campaign that felt personal and memorable—just like the moms it honored
